Lock Wealth Management LLC ("LWM") recognizes that our relationships with current and prospective clients are based on integrity and trust. We work hard to maintain your privacy and to preserve the private nature of our relationship with you. We place the highest value on the information you share with us. We will not sell your personal information.
We want our clients to understand what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your personal information.
We gather information about you so that we can:
We may collect the following types of "nonpublic personal information" about you:
We are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic personal information about you to unaffiliated third parties in certain circumstances. LWM may disclose client's nonpublic personal information: (1) to individuals and/or entities not affiliated with LWM, including, but not limited to third-parties that assist in the supervision or management of your account(s) (i.e., sub-advisers, account custodian, record keeper, attorney, etc.); (2) to service providers contracted by us in order for us to perform the duties in furtherance of the client's engagement with LWM (i.e. client management systems, archiving technology vendors, cloud service providers, etc.); (3) to your authorized representative or power of attorney; (4) when we receive your prior consent; (5) in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of our business; and (6) as otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with the parameters of applicable federal and/or state privacy regulations.
In the event that LWM has a change to its client privacy policy that would allow it to disclose nonpublic personal information not covered under applicable law, LWM will allow its clients the opportunity to opt-out of such disclosure.
Privacy has always been important to LWM. We restrict and limit access to client information only to those who need to carry out their business functions. We safeguard client information by preventing its unauthorized access, disclosure, or use. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your confidential personal information. Arrangements with companies or independent contractors not affiliated with LWM will be subject to confidentiality agreements.
Even if we cease to provide you with financial services, our Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you, and we will continue to treat your nonpublic personal information with strict confidentiality. We maintain all records regarding all former clients for the retention period required by law.
When you request a Money Story guide or Retirement Tax Picture summary, we save your first name, email, scored result, and request time to fulfill your request. You can separately choose to receive up to three follow-up emails from Ben about your result and an optional conversation. We record that choice, the permission wording version, and the time permission was given. Leaving the box unchecked does not affect your guide and does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Optional pre-meeting answers stay on your page and are not saved with the request. You may withdraw follow-up permission by contacting Ben at ben@lockwealthmanagement.com.
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). It sends Meta technical information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device details, your IP address, and cookie identifiers, plus a notice when you request one of our free guides. We use this to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to help Meta show our ads to people likely to find them useful. Your quiz answers, results, name, and email are not sent to Meta.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or an unknown location are asked first, and the Pixel runs only if they accept. You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; declining stops the Pixel right away. Meta's use of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Clients are encouraged to discuss any questions regarding privacy policies and procedures directly with Ben Loughery, Chief Compliance Officer of LWM. Please contact Ben Loughery at 404-590-6884.
